主任寄语

随着习近平总书记于2013年提出“我们将进一步深化医药卫生体制改革，探索医改这一世界性难题的中国式解决办法”，于2016年又分别提出“要把人民健康放在优先发展的战略地位”、“将健康融入所有政策”和实施健康中国战略，卫生健康政策学科在中国迎来了发展的黄金时代……

正是在此背景下，上海交通大学-耶鲁大学卫生政策联合研究中心在两校领导的鼎力支持下于2018年成立。该中心是两校的校级研究基地，也是上海交通大学（校本部）的第一所校级卫生健康政策研究平台，机构挂靠于上海交通大学国际与公共事务学院。我们中心的目标是致力于世界难题的医疗卫生改革，以中国乃至全球公众的卫生健康改善为己任，在卫生健康政策领域建立一个国际知名的学术研究基地，成为世界卫生组织和中国各级政府等的卫生健康政策智库，并成为中国和美国一流大学之间合作研究的典范。

我们中心与国内外高校、卫生健康行政部门和医疗卫生机构等已建立了良好的合作关系，并在短时间内建立了分中心等分支机构。我们期待各行业领导和同仁持续关注与支持中心的发展，我们也热忱欢迎青年才俊作为硕士生、博士生、博士后、专职研究人员或访问研究人员加入到我们中心。

Message from Director

In terms of President XI Jinping’s speeches such as “to deepen the health care system reforms and explore our solutions to the global difficult problem”, “to put people's health on a strategic priority for developments”, “to integrate health into all policies” and the Healthy China Policy, health policy enters a gold development period in China.

In such context, Shanghai Jiao Tong University-Yale University Joint Center for Health Policy (SJTU-Yale Joint Center for Health Policy) has been founded in 2018 with full supports from the leaders of the two universities. This Joint Center is the university-level research base of both two universities, and the first university-level research platform for health policy at SJTU. The Center's objective is to improve the functions of health care delivery systems for China and other countries, to become a famous academic base for health policy and a think tank for WHO and Chinese governments, etc., and to become a model for the cooperation between top universities in China and the United States.

We have established good cooperation with domestic and international universities, health administrations, tertiary hospitals, and have established a Sub-center for Disaster Response at Shanghai East Hospital. We expect the supports that are related from leaders and peers of the world. We also warmly welcome young talents such as graduates, PhD candidates, postdoctoral fellows, full-time researchers, visiting researchers to join us.
