上海交大赵大海关于新冠疫情第41次在电视台访谈评论：北京市新冠肺炎疫情防控与武汉市有重大区别

上海交通大学国际与公共事务学院博士生导师、上海交通大学-耶鲁大学卫生政策联合研究中心执行主任赵大海，对于新冠肺炎疫情暴发与防控第26次在中央电视台进行评论，也是第41次在央视、上视进行访谈评论。在2020年6月19日，赵大海在中央电视台英语频道《CGTN Insight》，就北京市新冠肺炎疫情与武汉市的区别进行了评论。同期嘉宾还包括中国国家疾病与预防控制中心首席流行病学家吴尊友。现只将赵大海的访谈内容翻译并摘录如下。

主持人：在新冠疫情暴发方面，北京是否有可能成为下一个武汉市？

赵大海：北京和武汉这两个城市在新冠肺炎疫情暴发方面不具有可比性。最重要的依据是：北京目前的大流行防控机制比武汉好得多。武汉市在2019年12月的时候，没有人知道新冠肺炎是什么，更不知道如何对其进行防控；在那时，人类甚至尚无法知道新冠肺炎是否会人传人。在武汉疫情的最初阶段，由于人类对其认知的不足，使得我们失去了防控疫情暴发的最佳时机。在北京新发地农贸市场新冠肺炎疫情的最早阶段，北京市各级政府和各级疾控中心就已具备了科学和充分的能力来应对新冠肺炎的确诊病例。因此，在新冠肺炎疫情暴发方面，北京绝对不可能成为下一个武汉。

Dahai Zhao' 41th comments on TV during the Pandemic: There are major differences between Beijing and Wuhan in COVID-19 prevention and control

Dahai Zhao, a doctoral supervisor at School of International and Public Affairs of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Executive Director of Shanghai Jiao Tong University-Yale University Joint Research Center for Health Policy, has been interviewed by CGTN for the 26th time (the 41th time by CGTN / ShanghaiTV) since the COVID-19 pandemic. On June 19, 2020, Zhao commented on the differences between COVID-19 in Beijing and Wuhan on “CGTN Insight”.

Anchor: In terms of COVID-19 outbreak, is Beijing likely to become the next Wuhan?

Dahai ZHAO: The two cities, Beijing and Wuhan, are not comparable. The most important reason is that the current pandemic control mechanism in Beijing is much better than Wuhan. Half a year ago in December 2019 in Wuhan, we did not know what the COVID-19 was. We did not know how to control it. We did not even know whether human-to-human transmission was possible. It made us lose the best chance to control the pandemic. In the very early stage of the current outbreak at Xinfadi market, Beijing's local government and the local CDC have full ability to respond to the new confirmed cases
