The Fifth Yale-SJTU Forum on Global Public Health Policy Held in Shanghai
2022年12月11日，上海交通大学-耶鲁大学第五届全球公共卫生政策论坛在上海举行。本次论坛由上海交通大学、耶鲁大学联合主办，上海交通大学-耶鲁大学卫生政策联合研究中心、上海交通大学国际与公共事务学院、耶鲁大学公共卫生学院联合承办，耶鲁大学中国医疗健康会协办。
On December 11, 2022, the Fifth Yale-SJTU Forum on Global Public Health Policy was successfully held in Shanghai. The forum was hosted by Yale University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and organized by Yale-SJTU Joint Center for Health Policy, Yale School of Public Health, and SJTU School of International and Public Affairs, and co-organized by Yale Healthcare Club of China.
本次会议采取线上线下相结合的方式。现场参会的嘉宾有上海申康医院发展中心党委书记赵丹丹，上海交通大学党委副书记周承，中国工程院院士、上海交通大学讲席教授贾伟平，上海健康医学院副书记、副校长唐红梅，香港中文大学深圳医学院副院长于广军，上海交通大学附属胸科医院党委书记郑宁，上海市卫生和健康发展研究中心主任金春林，复旦大学公共卫生学院党委书记罗力，美国匹兹堡大学医学中心高级副总裁Jeffrey Bernstein，上海交通大学国际与合作交流处处长罗鹏，上海交通大学国际与公共事务学院党委书记章晓懿，上海交通大学国际与公共事务学院院长吴建南，上海市浦南医院党委书记雷撼，上海纽约大学全球公共卫生教授Brian Hall，上海交通大学公共卫生学院教授张智若，上海交通大学-耶鲁大学卫生政策联合研究中心执行主任赵大海等。

会议开幕式由吴建南主持，周承、赵丹丹分别致欢迎辞。周承在致辞中向与会嘉宾表示了诚挚的欢迎和衷心的感谢，肯定了上海交通大学和耶鲁大学在推动全球公共卫生事业发展中取得的诸多进展和成果，指出公共健康领域还面临许多亟待解决的问题，期待两校利用自身优势，展开合作，共同为全球公共卫生事业做出贡献。赵丹丹对大数据与信息技术在上海、中国的医疗卫生事业发展中发挥作用的美好期待，指出其对美国、对全球重大突发公共卫生事件的防控和医院管理中的重要意义，倡导世界各国携手合作，共促技术进步与管理优化。
WU Jiannan chaired the opening ceremony, ZHOU Cheng, ZHAO Dandan gave welcoming speeches respectively. ZHOU Cheng expressed his sincere welcome and gratitude to the participants, affirmed the progress and achievements made by Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Yale University in promoting the development of global public health, and pointed out that there are still many urgent problems to be solved in the field of public health. He expected the two universities to make use of their own advantages, cooperate and make joint contributions to the cause of global public health. ZHAO Dandan looked forward to more role of big data and information technology in the development of medical and health undertakings in Shanghai and China, pointing out their significance to the prevention and control of major public health emergencies and hospital management in the United States and the world, and advocated the world to work together to promote technological progress and management optimization.
在主旨演讲环节，Paul Cleary院士、贾伟平院士与赵宏宇讲席教授三位领域内广负盛名的顶尖学者从新冠肺炎大流行期间美国患者的经历（《Patient Experiences in the United States During the COVID 19 Pandemic》）、《数字医疗与慢病管理》、《数字驱动的精准健康和医疗》三个主题发表主旨演讲，从各自领域剖析对“大数据与公共卫生政策”的深刻见解。
During the keynote speech, three leading scholars in their fields, Prof. Paul Cleary, Prof. JIA Weiping and Prof. ZHAO Hongyu, delivered speeches on three topics, 《Patient Experiences in the United States During the COVID 19 Pandemic》、《Digital medicine and chronic diseases management》、《Data driven precision health and medicine》，dissecting their profound insights on "Big Data and public health policy" from their respective fields.
随后，由罗鹏处长和赵大海教授分别主持了一场圆桌论坛，赵丹丹、管仲军、Paul Cleary、于广军、郑宁、Jeffrey Bernstein、雷撼、张智若聚焦“大数据、信息化与医院管理”展开探讨与分享。唐红梅、卢洪洲、金春林、罗力、陈希、Brian Hall、沈阳、王韬、杨一兵则就“大数据、信息化与公共卫生防控”这一主题进行深入交流。
Two panel discussions chaired by Director LUO Peng and Prof. ZHAO Dahai respectively. ZHAO Dandan, GUAN Zhongjun, Paul Cleary, YU Guangjun, ZHENG Ning, Jeffrey Bernstein, LEI Han, and ZHANG Zhiruo expressed their insights on "Big data, informatization and hospital management". Then TANG Hongmei, LU Hongzhou,JIN Chunlin, LUO Li, CHEN Xi, Brian Hall, SHEN Yang, WANG Tao, YANG Yibing had an in-depth exchange on the topic of "Big data, informatization and public health prevention and control".
最后，章晓懿作会议总结，肯定了各位专家学者在论坛中发言与交流的深刻意义，提出对上海交通大学和耶鲁大学加强交流，各位学者共同推动领域发展的美好祝愿。上海交通大学-耶鲁大学第五届全球公共卫生政策双边论坛在与会领导和嘉宾的积极交流中圆满落下了帷幕。
At last, Secretary ZHANG Xiaoyi concluded the forum, affirming the fabulousness of the speeches of the experts and scholars, and proposed the best wishes for the strengthening of cooperation between Yale and SJTU and the joint efforts of the scholars to promote the development of the field. The Fifth Yale-SJTU Bilateral Forum on Global Public Health Policy came to end with active exchanges between experts and attendees.
