上海交大赵大海关于新冠疫情第5次在电视台访谈评论：武汉疫情防控成效初显，中国治理体系强大而有效
上海交通大学国际与公共事务学院博士生导师、上海交通大学-耶鲁大学卫生政策联合研究中心执行主任赵大海近日第五次接受中央电视台英语频道（CGTN）的直播采访。在2020年2月22日晚8点的《中国24小时》节目，赵大海就武汉市为遏制新冠肺炎爆发所做的努力和中国治理体系在新冠肺炎防控当中起到的作用等进行了评论，相应中文翻译如下。
主持人：我们请上海交通大学-耶鲁大学卫生政策联合研究中心执行主任赵大海来做进一步的分析。您如何评价武汉市目前为遏制新冠肺炎爆发所做的努力？特别是中国治理体系在新冠肺炎防控当中起到的作用是什么？
赵大海：从武汉新冠肺炎爆发的趋势来看，疫情应该已得到了控制。武汉的新冠肺炎每天新确诊病例数从之前的几千例已降低到三百例左右。我认为武汉新冠肺炎的防控在过去一段时间内堪称奇迹。新冠肺炎爆发是中国治理现代化程度的最好试金石。在武汉，火神山医院和雷神山医院分别都是超过一千张病床的大医院，均在十几天之内建成；随后，三座临时医院也分别在几天之内建成。
此外，在武汉新任市委书记的领导下，武汉市采取了最严格的措施来控制新冠肺炎的爆发。譬如，武汉市政府在3天之内完成了对武汉市所有居民的筛查。
总之，无论从每天新增确诊病例数量的急剧减少，在很短的时间内新建成临时医院，还是最严格的疫情控制措施，都充分反映出了中国的治理体系是强大而有效的。

Dahai Zhao' 5th comments on TV during the Pandemic: Containing COVID-19 in Wuhan Has Made Initial Progress, and China’s Governance System is Powerful and Efficient
Anchor: To get some further analysis, let's go to professor ZHAO Dahai. He is the executive director of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Yale University Joint Center for Health Policy. Great to have you with us professor in our program. Now how would you evaluate the current efforts made to contain the virus in wuhan and the row of China's governance system in particular?
Dahai Zhao: I think the trend of outbreak in Wuhan seems to be under control. Daily new cases are from thousands to 3 hundred. I believe the combating virus outbreak in Wuhan in the last couple of days is a miracle. The coronavirus outbreak is the best touchstone of China's governance modernization. In Wuhan, both Huoshenshan Hospial and Leishenshan hospital that each of them has more than 1000 hospital beds were built in about 10 days; and 3 temporary hospitals were subsequently built in a couple of days.
Furthermore, Under the direction of new Party Chief of Wuhan City, the most stringent measures have been utilized to control the coronavirus outbreak; for example, the city government finished the screening among all citizens in Wuhan in 3 days. In a word, the sharp decrease of new daily confirmed cases, new temporary hospitals were built in a very short time, and most stringent measures to control the outbreak for all of people, have reflected that China’s governance system is powerful and efficient.
